Digital Bridge To Acquire Vantage Data Centers For Over $1B?
Rapidly Growing An Impressive Data Center Footprint
Digital Bridge Holdings LLC is rumoured to be in the process of acquiring Vantage Data Centers from Silver Lake Partners for well over $1B. Vantage Data Centers, based in Santa Clara, California, operates a multi-building data center campus in Santa Clara and has a data center in Quincy, Washington.
This potential transaction comes on the heels of the Digital Bridge acquisitions of DataBank, with data center operations in Dallas, Minneapolis and Kansas City totaling over 250,000 sq ft, and the purchase of C7 Data Centers, which has a controlling presence with three (3) interconnected data centers in Salt Lake City. Digital Bridge has also recently acquired individual data center operations from 365 Data Centers in Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
Based upon the recent acquisitions and the potential transaction with Vantage, Digital Bridge will have created a strong Tier 2 city footprint with a flagship Santa Clara/Silicon Valley data center opportunity.
