CyrusOne Acquires Two Data Centers From Sentinel For $490M

CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) has announced the acquisition of two facilities from Sentinel Data Centers for $490M. The two data centers are located in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and Somerset, New Jersey. The purpose-built, highly-designed data center facilities total more than 160,000 Sq Ft of colocation space with over 20MW of power with approximately 85 percent of the existing capacity being leased.

CyrusOne noted that it has expansion capacity in both facilities. The Durham data center will be CyrusOne's first in the Southeast where North Carolina has limited wholesale data center space capacity.
